A more traditional contemporary dance class format with technical exercises, across the floor combinations and creation techniques. This class is designed for people with a bit of experience with dance but anyone is welcome.

Upward Spiral Mitzvah Technique
Class size limited to 4 people
An intense boost to your body’s healing alignment. There will be hands-on table work, detailed instruction with the Mitzvah exercises and personalized exercises to meet your individual needs.
Wear comfortable clothes.

Upward Spiral Non-Technical Dance Class
This class is for anyone, even if you’ve never danced before

2nd Floor Artscape Youngplace, just North of Queen and Shaw
The power of movement and the joy of moving together.
No mirrors. No judgement. Just dancing.
The class will borrow from contemporary dance tradition, using various movement practices, games and styles to play with our movement potential.
Sprung floor studios with lots of light.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.
Running shoes or barefeet.

A more traditional contemporary dance class format with technical exercises and across the floor combinations. There is a mirror but still no judgement. This class is designed for people with a bit of experience with dance.
Classes run every Tuesday, starting Jan 24 until May 23 (no class March 7 or 14)
